Character History:
Takeru is a Chosen Child, one of a group of children chosen to protect the Digital World from the forces of evil that wish to ravage and take control of it. He's been involved in the fight against every major enemy that the team of chosen based in Odaiba has faced, probably making him the most experienced chosen in battle, even if he hasn't evolved Patamon beyond his perfect form of Holy Angemon.
One of the events that shaped Takeru into the person that he is now was the fight against Devimon, where his partner evolved to Angemon for the first time, and was killed and regressed to a Digitama. This caused him develop a grudge against the forces of darkness, which he has yet to let
go off to this day.
He fought in other battles against major enemies of the chosen, but the next battle that he and Patamon turned the tide in was the fight against Piemon, one of the four Dark Masters that had taken over the Digital World when he and the other chosen children went back to Earth to stop another evil digimon named Vamdemon from taking over thier home.
Piemon managed to defeat and capture almost every other chosen and digimon except for him, Patamon, and his friend Hikari. In order to protect her and stop Piemon, he managed to evolve Patamon into Holy Angemon, who defeated Piemon and rescued the other chosen and digimon.
Piemon attacked the chosen again, but was quickly defeated by the entire group of chosen, with Holy Angemon sealing him in another dimension, to never be heard from again.
Three years later, Takeru and Hikari ended up joining a new group of chosen to fight against Ken Ichijouji, a rouge chosen calling himself the Digimon Kaiser, who had blocked evolution, making the other six original chosen unable to do much to help in the fight against him, while the five new chosen gained a new way to evolve their digimon known as Armor evolution.
Over time, this new group of chosen defeated Ken and he eventually joined their team to fight against the dark digimon known as Arukenimon and Mummymon, who were working for Yukio Oikawa, who in turn was possessed by Vamdemon, and old enemy that the chosen had thought they had vanquished when they fought him three years ago.
This new group of chosen defeated all of them, and Takeru figured that he'd be pretty much done with being on the front lines and could take up a similar role that the original chosen had to the second team, since it seemed like another new team was already being formed.
Character personality-: Takeru is kind hearted and devoting to protecting the innocent from things that threaten them. He has a strict vendetta against dark aligned digimon, stemming from Angemon's death to defeat Devimon back when Chosen were first getting used to battle. While he's normally calm and rational about things, involvement by the forces of darkness are one of the few things near guaranteed to make him angry.
